Strengthening Resilience Together: Oil Spill Prevention and Containment Tabletop Exercise

SPI hosted recently the Oil Spill Prevention and Containment Tabletop Exercise held at the PRISTInE Hall.

The event was organized by the PIE-MO Industries Association, led by the PIE-MO IA President and SPI’s Legal & Purchasing Manager Atty. Jewela Boiser.

Bringing together the locator industries within the PHIVIDEC Industrial Estate, the exercise fostered a spirit of collaboration, solidarity, and mutual aid assistance.

As the participants collectively simulated scenarios and exchanged insights, the shared objective of fortifying institutional partnerships in disaster response, containment strategies, and proactive prevention became clearer. The presence of officials from the Philippine Coast Guard and the PHIVIDEC Industrial Authority further enriched the event.

SPI takes pride in being part of this initiative as it renews the company’s commitment to help champion disaster prevention efforts and enhance the capabilities of its surrounding communities and industry partners.
