SPI supports MisOr tourism project

Misamis Oriental Governor Bambi Emano and SPI Plant Manager Dr. Carsten Evers lead the unveiling of the proposed Provincial Botanical Garden and Tourism Complex during simple ceremonies held at the capitol grounds recently.

The project, which is funded mainly by MisOr’s share in the electricity sales of power generating companies in the province through the DOE ER 1-94 program, is expected to boost the local tourism industry.

MisOr received this year PHP 17.8 million worth of financial benefits from SPI.
