SPI Receives Safety Excellence Award at WASPI National Convention

SPI was honored with the prestigious Safety Excellence Award during the 6th Occupational Safety, Health, and Environment National Convention and General Assembly of the Workplace Advocates on Safety in the Philippines, Inc. (WASPI), held from October 16-18, 2024. The award recognized SPI’s remarkable achievement of 16 million safe man-hours without a lost-time accident (LTA) since 2006, a testament to the company’s steadfast commitment to safety.

Additionally, SPI’s safety leaders, Mr. Neil Quijano and Mr. Levi Tampus of the REHSS Department, were individually recognized for their outstanding contributions to implementing safety and health standards. Their dedication played a crucial role in SPI’s attainment of Zero Accidents from January to December 2023, reinforcing the company’s culture of safety and health excellence.
