SPI continues to advance its commitment to community well-being with the recent turnover of essential medical equipment to the health centers of Barangay Balacanas and Barangay Katipunan.
The initiative, implemented under the company’s Health and Nutrition Development (HaND) Program, is designed to strengthen the operational capacity of barangay health units and improve access to primary healthcare services in host communities.
“This initiative reflects our strategic focus on supporting local health systems and promoting inclusive development,” said Jerome Soldevilla, SPI’s COMREL Manager.
“Through the HaND Program, we aim to help build healthier, more resilient communities by investing in the tools and capabilities of our partner barangays.”
Barangay officials and health workers acknowledged the significance of the support, emphasizing its role in enhancing service efficiency and responsiveness to the basic health needs of their constituents.
The HaND Program forms part of SPI Power’s broader corporate social responsibility framework, which aligns with the company’s sustainability goals and long-term partnership with the local government of Villanueva.
