SPI Power Turns Over P1.5M Multi-Purpose Vehicle to Barangay San Martin

Demonstrating its ongoing commitment to the development of host communities, SPI Power officially turned over a brand-new multi-purpose vehicle worth P1.5 million to Barangay San Martin, funded through its ER 1-94 financial benefits program.

The ceremonial turnover was led by Mr. Jerome Soldevilla, Community Relations (COMREL) Manager of SPI Power, and was warmly received by the Barangay Council of San Martin headed by Hon. Alejandro Daya. Also present to witness the event was Hon. Jeric Emano, Vice Mayor of the Municipality of Villanueva.

The newly acquired vehicle is expected to improve the barangay’s mobility and response capabilities, particularly in delivering healthcare, emergency response, and development services to its constituents.

To date, Barangay San Martin has received over P14 million in ER 1-94 financial benefits, supporting a range of initiatives in health, livelihood, and infrastructure development.

SPI Power reaffirmed its commitment to sustainable and inclusive growth, emphasizing its goal of ensuring that host communities directly benefit from its operations.

“This is more than just a vehicle,” said Mr. Soldevilla. “It is a symbol of our partnership with the community and a tool that will help Barangay San Martin continue its journey toward progress and resilience.”
