SPI Marks World Day for Safety and Health at Work 2025 with Successful Blood Donation Drive

SPI successfully hosted a Blood Donation Activity held recently at the IEC Hall in celebration of the World Day for Safety and Health at Work 2025.

In collaboration with the Philippine Red Cross – Mindanao Regional Blood Center, the activity aligns with this year’s global theme of promoting a culture of prevention, wellness, and workplace health. The event also aims to address the ongoing need for safe and sufficient blood supply, while fostering corporate social responsibility and community involvement.

A total of 43 volunteers participated—34 SPI employees and 9 contractors—contributing a collective 19,350 milliliters (or approximately 4.83 gallons) of blood. These life-saving donations are expected to benefit patients in need and boost the capacity of local healthcare facilities.

The strong turnout and enthusiastic participation highlighted SPI’s continued commitment to promoting a safe, healthy, and compassionate work environment, reinforcing the company’s dedication to both employee welfare and community service.
