SPI Honored with Top Taxpayer and Outstanding CSR Program Awards

The Local Government Unit of Tagoloan recognizes SPI Power Incorporated (SPI) with the Top Taxpayer Award and the Outstanding CSR Program Award during the culminating program of the 7th CANTAGO Festival, “Gabii sa Pag-ila ug Pasalamat,” held recently.

Tagoloan Mayor Nadya Emano-Elipe presents the awards, highlighting SPI’s strong commitment to the local economy, impactful corporate social responsibility programs, and meaningful contributions to community development.

The Top Taxpayer Award also acknowledges SPI’s essential role in supporting Tagoloan’s robust economic growth. At the same time, the Outstanding CSR Program Award celebrates the company’s continuing initiatives in education, health, livelihood, and environmental stewardship that benefit residents and strengthen partnerships with local government and other stakeholders.

SPI Chief Operating Officer and Power Plant Manager Dr. Carsten Evers, together with the SPI COMREL Team led by Jerome Soldevilla, received the awards on behalf of the company.

The dual recognition underscores SPI’s commitment to operational excellence and responsible corporate citizenship in its host communities in Misamis Oriental.
