SPI celebrates World Day for Safety and Health at Work with Blood Donation Drive

SPI employees donate blood to the Philippine Red Cross Team in a recent blood letting activity held at the Mindanao Power Plant in Villanueva, Misamis Oriental. The activity forms part of the celebration of World Day for Safety and Health at Work with the theme, “A safe and healthy working environment is a fundamental principle and right at work.”

Around fifty-three SPI employee volunteers, Cadet Engineers and contractors joined in the blood donation drive with more than twenty liters of blood collected.

SPI encourages  a culture of corporate volunteerism among its employees to help others with the much needed blood and to avert a shortage of blood supply at the Northern Mindanao Regional Blood Bank.
