Sharing current best practices on environmental management

Officials and personnel of the City Local Environment and Natural Resources Office (CLENRO) of LGU Cagayan de Oro learn from the current best environmental practices of STEAG State Power Inc. (SPI) during a recent educational tour of the company’s Mindanao coal-fired power plant in Villanueva, Misamis Oriental. CLENRO Chief for Research and Planning Division lauded SPI for its sound environmental management performance as well as the company’s continuing commitment to protect the environment in the way it produces electric power and through its various CSR programs and projects.
