Private-Public partnership on disaster resiliency

SPI culminates its commemoration of the 2019 Business Continuity Awareness Week (BCAW) recently with a forum that tackles the importance of private-public partnership in enhancing the community’s ability to respond and recover from disasters and calamities.

SPI Business Continuity Program (BCM) Manager Neil Quijano (left) said that the government and the private sector could foster greater collaboration in the areas of training, continuing education, technology, and information sharing. Office of Civil Defense (OCD) Region 10 Director  Rosauro Gonzales (2-L) lauded SPI for initiating the event and for promoting the importance of interdependency in building more resilient communities.
