Relentless in growing more trees
SPI employees commemorate this year’s Earth Day by planting tree seedlings within the power plant’s eco-park. So far, more than 500,000 trees have already been grown in various company-sponsored reforestation sites including the 1,200-hectare carbon sink project located in upland Cagayan de Oro City and the 1,000-hectare target areas of the Tagoloan and Villanueva Urban Forestry Projects in Misamis Oriental.

SPI reaches another safety milestone
SPI has reached another SAFETY milestone after another year without lost time due to accident. With 194 empowered SPI employees and 4,180 workers from 27 contractor companies, the company now achieves 13,032,799.21 safe man-hours driven by a shared dedication to keep each other safe.
