MDRMMC teams up with SPI on emergency preparedness

The Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction Management Council (MDRRMC) of Villanueva, Misamis Oriental, the Philippine National Red Cross (PNRC), the Bureau of Fire Protection and STEAG State Power Inc. About 70 community-based first-responders attended a one-day firefighting and rescue training and simulation exercises at the Pristine Hall. SPI deployed its firefighting equipment and some members of its emergency response team during the exercises. SPI’s support is part of the company’s continuing commitment to help enhance local disaster preparedness and response capabilities.
