Enhancing Community Emergency Preparedness through HAZMAT Training

SPI partnered with the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) Region 10 and its host local government units in organizing a comprehensive hazardous material awareness training held recently at the Mindanao Power Plant PRISTInE Hall. The three-day seminar was attended by SPI employees and Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office (MDRRMO) personnel from Villanueva and Tagoloan, Misamis Oriental.

The training aimed to equip participants with essential knowledge and skills to handle hazardous materials safely and effectively, enhancing their preparedness for emergencies.

This initiative underscores SPI’s commitment to community safety and environmental protection, fostering collaboration between corporate entities and local government units to ensure a well-coordinated response to potential hazards.
