SPI, together with Aboitiz Foundation (AFI), launched the Elevate AIDA (Artificial Intelligence Data Annotation) Program on March 20 and 21, 2025, in Villanueva and Tagoloan, Misamis Oriental.
Held in celebration of March as Women’s Month, this initiative—undertaken in partnership with Connected Women and local government units—aims to equip women with AI and data annotation skills, opening opportunities for remote work and digital employment.
A key highlight of the launch was the signing of a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA), reinforcing the shared commitment of SPI, Aboitiz Foundation, Connected Women, and the LGUs of Villanueva and Tagoloan to advance women’s economic empowerment.
The local chief executives of Tagoloan and Villanueva expressed their appreciation for SPI’s continuous efforts to improve the lives of the people in the communities. As part of SPI’s Livelihood and Economic Enterprise Development (LEED) Program, Elevate AIDA provides a crucial platform for women to develop digital skills and achieve financial independence. Participants were encouraged to make the most of this opportunity, enhance their digital capabilities, and take charge of their future.
