Empowered Mothers, Healthier Kids: SPI Hosts Nutrition and Health Learning Sessions for Tagoloan and Villanueva

In a bid to strengthen community health and empower families, SPI, in partnership with the Local Government Units of Tagoloan and Villanueva through their Municipal Health and Municipal Nutrition & Action Offices, organized educational sessions for mothers focusing on holistic child well-being.

The sessions covered vital topics such as proper nutrition, the adverse effects of malnutrition, food safety, hygiene and sanitation, and dental health. Designed to equip mothers with practical and essential knowledge, the program aims to help raise stronger, healthier children and promote lifelong healthy habits within households.

The initiative forms part of SPI’s Health and Nutrition Improvement (HaND) Program., uplifting family health and wellness. By educating mothers—recognized as children’s first teachers, primary caregivers, and the foundation of every home—this initiative fosters healthier communities from the ground up.

SPI underscores its dedication to building stronger families through education and community partnership.
