Celebrating environment, health, and safety milestones

STEAG State Power Inc. (SPI) kicks off recently the 2019 Environment-Health-Safety (EHS) Consciousness Week to commemorate the company’s achievements of major EHS milestones. Since the start of its power plant operations in Villanueva, Misamis Oriental in 2006, SPI logged in more than eight-million safe-man hours with zero lost time due to accident; zero occurrence of occupational-related illnesses;  and 100% compliance to all applicable social and environmental rules and regulations. Aside from celebrating the EHS milestones, the week-long event aims to entrench and instill further the company’s commitment to EHS among its employees and service contractors.
