TSI C&I Team Benchmark DCS System Architecture at SPI Power

The C&I Team from Therma South Inc. (TSI) recently visited SPI Power to conduct a benchmarking activity on the plant’s Distributed Control System (DCS) System Architecture.

The visit provided an opportunity for knowledge-sharing on system design, control strategies, and operational best practices. SPI’s Instrumentation and Control Section (I&C) of the Maintenance Department shared insights and experiences in managing the DCS to ensure reliable and efficient plant operations.

The benchmarking activity highlights the value of collaboration among industry peers in strengthening technical capabilities and promoting continuous improvement in power generation operations.
