SPI receives platinum award for safety and health

The Safety and Health Association of the Philippines Energy Sector, Inc. (SHAPES),  together with the Department of Energy (DOE) has recognized SPI with a Platinum Award for its exceptional health and safety performance in the workplace. SPI was given recognition for achieving Zero Lost-Time Accident for fourteen years. A virtual turn-over of the award was held recently during the SHAPES Safety and Health Awards 2020 via Zoom.

A special recognition was also given to SPI for its Occupational Health Management of COVID-19 Pandemic.

The Safety performance award was held during 16th Energy Safety and Health & Environment Conference with the theme “Building a Sustainable Energy Future Amidst a Changing Landscape.” The annual activity is in celebration of the National Energy Consciousness Month.
