SPI-supported tourism complex opens in Claveria

Misamis Oriental Governor Bambi Emano led the inauguration and opening of the province’s tourism complex and botanical garden in the landlocked town of Claveria, Misamis Oriental, recently.

The complex is the newest addition to MisOr’s tourist attractions, built near the Cebu Pacific Flight 387 shrine along the Gingoog-Claveria road.

It features several amenities like a view deck, a children’s playground, a coffee shop, walkways, and a botanical garden.

In 2019, SPI turned over PHP 3.5 million to the provincial government to support the project. The assistance is part of the LGU share in the electricity sales under the DOE ER 1-94 program.

Governor Emano presented a plaque of appreciation as a gesture of the provincial government’s recognition of SPI’s support of the project.

The inauguration activity was participated by various LGU officials, representatives from several energy companies in the province, and the regional tourism office.
