Relentless in growing more trees

SPI employees commemorate this year’s Earth Day by planting tree seedlings within the power plant’s eco-park. So far, more than 500,000 trees have already been grown in various company-sponsored reforestation sites including the 1,200-hectare carbon sink project located in upland Cagayan de Oro City and the 1,000-hectare target areas of the Tagoloan and Villanueva Urban Forestry Projects in Misamis Oriental.
