SPI conducted recently a seminar workshop on solid waste management for Barangay Sta. Cruz in Tagoloan. The workshop provided the mechanism for barangay council officials to discuss, identify and agree on doable community-based solutions to address the growing concern on garbage. The activity is part of the company’s EGoLD (Enhancing Governance in Local Development) program designed to enhance local government capacity in addressing the social and environmental challenges in the community. The activity is organized in partnership with the MMT of the Mindanao Power Plant.
