Helping craft Mindanao’s business policy agenda

SPI hosted a discussion and policy consultation of the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCI) recently to help formulate the business sector’s policy agenda for the upcoming 2019 Mindanao Business Conference on 12-14 September 2019 in Iligan City. Among the priority agenda discussed are the government’s Build-Build-Build projects such as roads, bridges, and airports, power supply, tax reforms, and peace and order concerns. In attendance were the PCCI regional governors and leaders of the various business chambers, as well as officials and representatives from USAID and the Mindanao Development Authority.
