5S Committee members attend a 2-day advanced training course on the 5S Principles to broaden understanding and enhance internal capabilities in carrying out the 5S Program in the workplace.
In this highly competitive age, organizations must be strategic and innovative for businesses to thrive and succeed. The 5S principles provide a good foundation for continuous improvement, increased productivity and highest standards for safety.
Facilitated by Mr. Jones Villanueva, Business & Certificate Director of SGS Philippines, Inc., participants learned that the 5S is a marathon, not a sprint. Its results are achieved over time, not overnight. Hence, all employees are encouraged to go through every step of the 5S process to be able to appreciate the principles and make them a way of life.
