New electrical engineer

SPI Power Plant Manager Dr. Carsten Evers congratulates Power Student Immanuel Y. Cahig for successfully passing the Electrical Engineer Licensure Examination. Cahig is one of the 3,285 who passed out of the 4,891 examinees held last Aug 31-Sept 1, 2019.

Engr. Cahig and his father paid a courtesy visit to Dr. Evers last September 13, 2019 to personally express their gratitude to SPI for the educational assistance & moral support he had been given with as a Power Student during his 4-year secondary education in Villanueva National High School, 5 -year college education in the University of Science and Technology of Southern Philippines (USTsP) and up to his taking the board exam.

In a short but warm visit, Dr. Evers inspired Engr Cahig in the engineering field and offered the Cadet Internship Training Program (CET) to further train with SPI.

Engr. Cahig, who is also a government scholar, is now excited in paying forward, through service to others, the support he has richly received from his benefactors.

To date, the SPI Power Student Program, which recognizes academically performing but financially challenged students in Villanueva & Tagoloan, has produced four professionals who are now achieving their full potentials and living their dreams.

Congratulations to Engr Cahig and more power to you!
