Emergency preparedness

STEAG State Power Inc. promotes the importance of emergency preparedness during the on-going commemoration of its 2019 Business Continuity Awareness Week (BCAW) at its power plant site in Villanueva, Misamis Oriental. Hundreds of rescue and emergency responders from its host communities participated in various events that include the first-ever Rescue M.A.R.C.H. (Mass Assembly for Rescue and Care for Humanity) Challenge conducted in the PHIVIDEC area. The annual event is part of the company’s commitment to helping improve the emergency and disaster preparedness of its various community stakeholders amid several calamities like the earthquakes that jolted some parts of Mindanao recently.
