Bloodletting drive draws a positive response

About 63 bags of blood were donated to the Philippine Red Cross by SPI employees and contractors during a blood-letting drive held recently at the Mindanao Power Plant. SPI’s REHHS department noted an overwhelming response, with target blood donors turnout of about 157%.

The activity is organized as part of SPI’s commemoration of REHSS Month with the theme, “Advancing EHSS Resilience and OSH Culture towards the New Normal and Beyond.”

Through the years, SPI has been conducting blood-letting activities to help secure a stable blood supply at the PRC blood bank in Cagayan de Oro City.
